Please take due notice of the following, and pass on to your DRs and they to their lodges ASAP…

Per the Grand Master at today’s corporate board discussion regarding the shooting incident in Falcon Heights this week:

All master masons under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge on MN are requested to avoid making  statements, comments on posts, or other similar actions (i.e. profile pictures, photos, memes, shares, etc) in social media or other public forums related to the Falcon Heights shooting. Any items of this sort that have been posted should be deleted as soon as possible.

Remember that you are all representatives of the Grand Lodge in the public eye. Our fraternity includes men of all political views, and as such, as a Grand Lodge, we must avoid taking a political stance on issues in order to keep harmony in our ranks.

At this point, we have not received any communication from the PHGL regarding assistance requests. If this changes, we will advise you further.

C Brust, D.Sc.
